Miller attended Washington and Lee University School of Law in Virginia after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Tennessee.
Miller is particularly interested in labor and employment law, focusing on discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliatory discharge, and wage-and-hour disputes. His externship in law school at the Office of the General Counsel at Virginia Military Institute provided valuable insight into the intersection of education and employment law, specifically working with Title IX of the Civil Rights Act and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
